(PRIMASPORT) TURIN Juventus currently maintains its faith in Luciano Spalletti despite the recent home defeat against Lazio, but is planning some options for the future in case the team fails to recover.
Sources close to the club note that the owners and management have discussed various options, contemplating both short- and long-term solutions. In the short term, in the event of an irreparable crisis, Antonio Conte remains the most popular name, although the club currently does not foresee his return.
As an alternative solution, Stefano Pioli, a former Juventus player with a history of success at the club in the 1980s, is being considered as a possible interim who could herald a new summer revolution.
Looking beyond the current season, the hiring of a new coach is being considered to build the sporting project starting in 2027. Among the prominent candidates are Simone Inzaghi, currently coach of Al Hilal, interested in a return to Europe with a contract in line with his experience, and Francesco Farioli, Porto's coach, fresh from stints at Nice and Ajax and potentially his first head coaching experience in Italy.
Vincenzo Italiano, currently at Besiktas with a contract until 2028, has also been linked with major Italian clubs such as Milan and Napoli. He could also attract interest from Juventus. (PRIMASPORT)
