(PRIMASPORT) Giovanni Malagò, commissioner of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), expressed optimism about the division within Serie A regarding the candidacy for the presidency of the Italian Football Federation. Speaking on the sidelines of the CONI National Council on October 27, 2026, Malagò stated: "Serie A divided? Let's see. I was and am positive, I'm optimistic.".
The commissioner then added that the application deadline is approaching and he does not intend to provide further details at this time.
