ROME – Giovanni Malagò, commissioner of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), has expressed his expectation that Serie A will nominate him for the next federation election, scheduled for December 14. Speaking at the Collari d'Oro ceremony at the Giulio Onesti Sports Center in Rome, Malagò stated that the Serie A assembly, scheduled for October 16, will decide on the matter and that it would be right for the top flight to choose the candidate.
