Jannik Sinner will return to Riyadh on December 27 for the Six Kings Slam

(PRIMASPORT) MONTE CARLO – Jannik Sinner will be enjoying his Christmas cake just before returning to the court. He'll be doing so in Saudi Arabia, starting December 27th, competing in the Six Kings Slam, the exhibition tournament scheduled for Riyadh, which he won the first two editions. Sinner essentially confirmed this by sharing a post on his Instagram stories from Turki Alalshikh, one of the event's main organizers, who announced the South Tyrolean's presence at the prestigious tournament in which he has been announced. The exhibition tournament doesn't award ATP points, and by the end of December, Sinner will have already passed the No. 1 ranking to Alexander Zverev. The German is expected to overtake him and become world number one on Monday, November 2nd. Originally scheduled for October 21st to 24th, it was postponed due to geopolitical tensions in the Gulf region. The Six Kings Slam offers $6 million to the winner and $1.5 million to the other five participants. Sinner hasn't played a match since winning the Wimbledon final and is working out in the gym in Monte Carlo to overcome problems with his right knee. According to the English newspaper The Times, upon his return, Sinner may no longer have 61-year-old Australian coach Darren Cahill, who has coached him since 2022, at his side. Instead, he may be joined by 50-year-old Magnus Norman, former coach of Stan Wawrinka, who won three Grand Slam titles with him. Norman would be working alongside Simone Vagnozzi, Sinner's other coach. (PRIMASPORT)
