(PRIMASPORT) ROME The Italian Fencing Federation has announced an important event for Friday, October 23, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., at the CONI Hall of Honor in Rome. On this occasion, the memorandum of understanding signed with the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital will be presented. The aim is to promote fencing recreational and sports activities for young patients at the Palidoro facility, in collaboration with Military Sports Groups and State Civilian Corps.
Federal President Luigi Mazzone, together with representatives of Bambino Gesù, will outline the details of this initiative, which confirms Italian fencing's commitment to social, cultural, and sporting life.
The awards ceremony for the "Study Incentive" project will take place later: over 60 fencers, including Under 14s, Youth, and Seniors, will be recognized for their balance between competitive performance and academic/university studies in 2025. The initiative is supported by the Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit, chaired by Beniamino Quintieri. (PRIMASPORT)
