(PRIMASPORT) Max Verstappen has ruled out a possible move to Ferrari, emphasizing his desire to win exclusively with Red Bull, the team with which he recently renewed a four-year contract. In an interview with Sky UK, the Dutchman expressed great respect for the Ferrari brand but clarified that he sees no point in committing to a team that isn't fighting for wins, referring to a potential battle for fifth or sixth place.
“Red Bull is a second family to me, and the challenge of rebuilding is what motivates me,” added Verstappen, highlighting his attachment to the team and his desire to continue competing at the highest level.
The driver also commented on rumors surrounding Christian Horner's possible return to Formula 1, clarifying that he isn't worried or involved in the decisions of his former team principal, who could return to the track if a good opportunity presents itself. (PRIMASPORT)
