Ferrari has officially denied rumors of a possible change at the helm of the team, reaffirming its full confidence in Team Principal Frederic Vasseur. After a mixed season marked by some notable victories but also by disappointments after the summer break, rumors had spread that Christian Horner was interested in Vasseur's position.
In a press conference held on September 29, 2026, Ferrari management stated: "There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the Scuderia and its leadership. Ferrari's position is clear and has not changed. Ferrari has made its decisions, and the trust in Fred Vasseur and his team was and remains there.".
The team also stressed the importance of avoiding external speculation that could destabilize the group, declaring that the focus remains exclusively on the results to be achieved on the track.
