CARAMANICO TERME - Lennart Jasch (Tudor Pro Cycling Team) won the second stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo Carta Giovani Nazionale, the 143km Popoli Terme-Caramanico Terme climb, ahead of Dorian Godon (Netcompany Ineos) and Matteo Scalco (XDS Astana Development Team). The German rider, national runner-up, had emerged ahead of the pack with just over 10 kilometers to go, on the Scagnano climb, accompanied by Matteo Scalco and Mattia Bais, attacking solo as the road steepened again near the final kilometer.
