COLLADO DEL ALGUACIL - Enric Mas is on his way to winning the 2026 Vuelta, but on the penultimate stage, the spotlight fell on Mikel Landa (Soudal-Quick-Step), who relived the finest moments of his career with a thrilling solo victory at the Collado del Alguacil, a summit finish on the eve of the grand finale in Granada. Attacks heated up the race on the day's numerous climbs, and Landa proved to be the strongest climber, outdistanced Tobias Johannessen (Uno-X Mobility) seven kilometers from the finish and taking his second stage victory at the Vuelta.
