COMO - The Centomiglia del Lario crowns a new record holder. Serafino Barlesi, teamed with Swede Joakim Kumlin, wins the 77th edition of the historic powerboat race on Lake Como, securing a victory that sets an all-time record for victories. With twelve wins, Barlesi surpasses the legendary Tullio Abbate, who held the record with eleven victories. Behind the winning crew are Maltese sailors Aaron Chantar and Jurgen Barbara, who secured a prestigious second place. Completing the podium are Christian Cesati and Dario Buchli, who finished third overall. The 2026 edition also had a strong commemorative significance.
