PSG wins 4-2 against Manchester City, Donnarumma saves a Ferran Torres penalty.

(PRIMASPORT) Paris Saint-Germain defeated Manchester City 4-2 in a Champions League match played on the evening of Wednesday, October 14. PSG secured the match between the 13th and 15th minutes with goals from Doué and Dembelé. Vitinha seemed to seal the victory in the 32nd minute. In the second half, City scored through Haaland. Akliouche restored the French side's lead, Haaland scored twice, but City failed to do more. PSG maintained their lead, and Gigi Donnarumma partially redeemed himself by saving a penalty from Spanish striker Ferran Torres in the 90th minute.

Donnarumma's penalty save prevented City from further complicating their misfortune on a disappointing night. But the goalkeeper's performance was affected by the incident that led to PSG's fourth goal. Akliouche's shot from the edge of the box, Donnarumma deflected the ball with his hand, but it soared, taking a strange trajectory and ending up in the net despite a desperate effort.

PSG, led by Luis Enrique, confirmed their strength at this stage of the competition, while City will have to reflect on their home defeat. (PRIMASPORT)
