Dembélé praises Donnarumma as the best goalkeeper ahead of City-PSG

(PRIMASPORT) During the pre-match press conference for tomorrow's Champions League match between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain at City's stadium, Ousmane Dembélé praised goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, calling him "the number 1 in the world" and an "exceptional goalkeeper." The two, former teammates at PSG and now rivals in both the Champions League and the national team, have maintained an excellent personal relationship, as Dembélé revealed, saying he and Donnarumma even exchanged messages at the goalkeeper's wedding.

“"With his saves, Donnarumma can change the outcome of an entire match. He's an extraordinary player, and he'd already proven it before arriving in Paris," added the French striker, also recalling a joking incident between them in a Nations League match.

Regarding the match against Manchester City, Dembélé emphasized the difficulty of playing against a team that is dominating the Premier League despite corporate woes, but stated that PSG is determined to take the three points. "It's not a decisive match, but we want to win it. We know what to expect; they're one of the best teams and have started off great in both the league and the Champions League," he concluded.
