(PRIMASPORT) Midway through the Serie A international break, Paulo Dybala has emerged as the league's top assist provider in the first five matchdays, with a total of four assists. Roma's Argentine, a regular starter and key player, has demonstrated exceptional form, both offensively and in recovering possession, as evidenced in the Roma-Inter match.
Dybala scored a hat-trick of crucial passes in his debut against Fiorentina and another assist in the match against Atalanta. However, he has yet to score this season, continuing a drought that has lasted over eight months, since his last goal on January 18th in the 2-0 Torino-Roma match.
Alongside him, with three assists, are Inter's Andy Diouf and Frosinone's Romano Schmidt, both genuine surprises this season. Diouf is deployed as an adapted right winger, while Schmidt acts as an attacking midfielder alongside strikers Ghedjemis and Kvernadze.
Finally, a large group of fourteen players each provided two assists. With the league's return scheduled for Saturday, October 10th, everyone will be able to try to climb this particular ranking, where, for now, Dybala's quality dominates, and we hope he maintains his health and form after the break.
