(PRIMASPORT) SEPANG – Charles Leclerc expressed his satisfaction at the end of the first day of free practice at Sepang for the Bahrain Grand Prix, underlining how the on-track performances were very similar among the competitors.
The Ferrari driver set the fastest time during the second free practice session, describing the day as "good" and full of learning. "Our performance was encouraging, but we mustn't underestimate our rivals because I think they still have something to show for themselves tomorrow," Leclerc explained.
Secondo il monegasco, la pista mostrava condizioni piuttosto sporche e scivolose e si aspetta un’evoluzione significativa prima delle qualifiche. Il degrado degli pneumatici sarà una delle sfide principali del fine settimana: «Anche una piccola differenza nel modo in cui si affrontano alcune curve può avere un impatto enorme sull’usura degli pneumatici, quindi credo che ci siano tutti gli ingredienti per una gara interessante».
