MUNICH - Lisa Vittozzi returned to winning ways at Munich's Olympiapark: after her success at the 2025 edition, the Olympic champion from Sappada once again dominated the second of two races at the 2026 Loop One Festival. Fifth in Saturday's Super Sprint, the Italian dominated the rest of the field in the second Bavarian race, finishing with three shooting errors (0-1-1-1) to edge out France's Julia Simon (0-0-1-2). Vittozzi thus crossed the finish line after 24:27.2 seconds, leaving Simon 16.7 seconds behind, with fellow French athlete Amandine Mengin (0-0-1-1) completing the day's podium.
