(PRIMASPORT) FLORENCE Como secured a valuable victory by defeating Fiorentina 3-1 at the Franchi stadium, returning to winning ways after three winless matches in the league and the Champions League. The victory came at the end of an intense match in which Como scored through Liberali and Nico Paz in the first half, while Pongracic pulled one back for the home side. In stoppage time, a potential Fiorentina equalizer was ruled out for offside. In the second half, Fiorentina pushed forward, but Como exploited the space to score the decisive goal through Douvikas, thanks to an unforgivable error by goalkeeper De Gea, who let the ball slip through his legs. The victory ensures Como maintains its position on the top spots occupied by Inter and Roma.
Fiorentina, with this defeat, their fifth in seven games, remains second to last in the standings with four points. (PRIMASPORT)
