DURRES – The FIPE Italian Team continues its participation in the European Junior and Under 23 Weightlifting Championships in Durres. Lavinia Magistris finished ninth in the Under 23 69 kg category with a total of 200 kg, achieved with 92 kg in the snatch and 108 kg in the clean and jerk. Magistris started with a snatch at 88 kg, failing on her second attempt at 91 kg, before improving to 92 kg in the third event. In the clean and jerk, she completed her first lift at 108 kg, while her subsequent attempts at 112 and 113 kg failed.
