DURRES – At the European Junior and Under 23 Weightlifting Championships in Durres, Ettore Antonio Pilato won the bronze medal in the Junior 60 kg category with a total of 260 kg, also setting a new Italian record in the snatch with 119 kg, and landing six valid lifts out of six. Pilato's performance was flawless: he started with 114 kg in the snatch, advancing to 119 kg, while in the clean and jerk, he started at 133 kg and reached 141 kg on his final attempt.
