(PRIMASPORT) Lazio coach Gennaro Gattuso expressed his appreciation for the Italian national team, calling it a team brimming with talent. Speaking at the 12th edition of the Giuseppe Colalucci Award at the Antico Tiro a Volo, Gattuso emphasized the merits of coach Roberto Mancini, who was able to inspire everyone after a difficult start to their career. "My opinion is that our national team is a talented team—I said that myself—but we need to make this available to the entire team. We have strong players, Mancini is doing a fantastic job, and it's a team that is eager to play. After the first match, everything seemed hopeless, but the coach did a great job in making everyone believe," said the Lazio coach.
Gattuso also commented on the evolution of Italian football: "Our football is changing, the matches are more entertaining, there's less booing. We need stadiums to bring people back to cheer." (PRIMASPORT)
