(PRIMASPORT) Flavio Cobolli was eliminated by Adrian Mannarino in the second round of the Shanghai Masters 1000. The Italian tennis player fell to the Frenchman 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.
Cobolli, world number 7 and the number 6 seed who had advanced directly to the second round, thus suffered his fourth consecutive singles defeat, after defeats against Safiullin in Beijing, Tien in the Laver Cup and Blockx at the US Open.
Mannarino, ranked 83rd in the ATP rankings, won, ending Cobolli's losing streak in the Chinese tournament, which continues a difficult period for the young Roman tennis player. (PRIMASPORT)
