(PRIMASPORT) PIOSSASCO On Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, Casa Lajolo in Piossasco will host the twelfth edition of the Festa degli Orti, dedicated to "The Flavors of the Earth." The event offers a rich program of events ranging from food and wine to art and science, with workshops and tastings.
New to this year's edition is the "Festa degli Orti Off" program, titled "Around: Walk and Discover," which offers guided tours of open-air museums, tastings, and cultural tours of the village. Of particular interest from a sporting perspective is the nature hike on Sunday, September 13th at 10:30 a.m., departing from Casa Lajolo towards San Valeriano in the Monte San Giorgio Park. The hike, led by experts and organized in collaboration with Amici del Monte San Giorgio and Legambiente Pinerolo, represents the festival's main sporting aspect.
Additionally, the shuttle service has been improved, and an ancient pedestrian path, the “Strà d'j Babj,” has been reopened, allowing hikers to reach the village via a scenic hilltop route.
