(PRIMASPORT) MILAN – Samuele Ricci is ready to become a new Como player. The Larian club and Milan have reached a definitive agreement for the transfer of the Italian midfielder to the court of Cesc Fabregas.
The operation will be concluded with the formula of onerous loan with right of redemption. Como will pay 1.5 million euros for the loan, while the right to definitively purchase the player's registration has been set at 22 million plus bonuses.
The final details between the two clubs have been finalized, and Ricci is expected in Como today to undergo a medical and subsequently sign a contract with his new club.
Ricci leaves Milan after one season
Thus ends, at least for now, the Rossoneri experience of the midfielder, who arrived at Milan in the summer of 2025.
Ricci has collected a total of 34 appearances, one goal and four assists, remaining on the pitch for 1,498 minutes.
A season in which the midfielder failed to find the consistency he hoped for within the team's hierarchy. The Como solution will now allow him to seek more space and relaunch a project that continues to add Italian players to the squad.
Fabregas adds quality to the midfield
For Cesc Fabregas a midfielder arrives who is still in the midst of his development and capable of covering multiple roles in the central area of the pitch.
Ricci will also find a particularly important stage in Como: in addition to the Serie A championship, he will have the opportunity to play in the Champions League with the Larian formation.
