ROME - Chivu's Nerazzurri, after winning the Scudetto, secured the crowning achievement of their tenth Coppa Italia by defeating Lazio 2-0 in the final at the Olimpico Stadium in Rome. Inter took the lead in the 14th minute: Barella's corner was met by Thuram, who nearly fooled Marusic into an own goal. Nuno Tavares was on the back foot: first he saved from Dumfries' right-footed strike, then in the 35th minute he was robbed by the Dutchman, who then set up Lautaro on the goal line for an easy 2-0 lead. Lazio came out on top in the second half, but Noslin and Dia both missed chances to get back into the game.
