MISANO – During the San Marino MotoGP Grand Prix at Misano, Marco Bezzecchi was forced to retire due to a crash between turns 12 and 13. The Aprilia rider, starting from pole position and leading the race, had a spectacular crash, sending his bike flying into the gravel. He was unhurt and quickly got up to return to the pits. MISANO – Marco Bezzecchi set the fastest time in MotoGP prequalifying for the San Marino Grand Prix at the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano, stopping the clock at 1'30.144 on his Aprilia. Marc Marquez finished second, 0.103 seconds behind, followed by his brother Alex Marquez, 0.185 seconds behind. The session initially saw the riders focus on race pace simulations, with Bezzecchi very consistent and effective, clocking times in the 1'30.800 range. SAN MARINO – Marc Marquez set the fastest time in the first free practice session for the San Marino MotoGP Grand Prix, clocking a time of 1'31.468. The Spanish Ducati rider finished 0.060 ahead of Marco Bezzecchi on his Aprilia and 0.0133 ahead of compatriot Raul Fernandez, riding for the Trackhouse team. Championship leader Jorge Martin, also on an Aprilia, finished eighth, 0.0267 behind Marquez. Further back, in 18th place, was Pecco Bagnaia on his other factory Ducati.
