VERONA - Hellas Verona lost to Lazio (0-1) at home. The visitors threatened immediately, with Valentini blocking Isaksen's shot and Noslin misfiring with his header. It was a flash in a rather dull game. Provedel was alert to Bradaric's curling effort and then Frese's shot. Then Pellegrini defused a tricky situation after his goalkeeper's save was just wide. Marusic's free kick was saved by Montipò. Bernede squandered a good chance. In the 79th minute, Lazzari crossed low from the left, but Nelsson slid in and caused an own goal.
