MILAN-CORTINA – The Italian mixed biathlon team takes silver. The 4x6km mixed relay team, composed of Tommaso Giacomel, Lukas Hofer, Dorothea Wierer, and Lisa Vittozzi, has to give way only to the very strong French team.
On the Anterselva circuit, the French took off right from the first stages.
The Italians battled within tenths of a second with Germany and Norway. The final difference came from the two shots from the last Italian runner, Lisa Vittozzi: she hit only fast targets. Germany rounded out the podium.
