(PRIMASPORT) Lorenzo Mark Finn triumphs in the rainbow jersey in the sixth stage of the Giro Next Gen Carta Giovani Nazionale, taking his first victory in the Corsa Rosa and the Maglia Rosa in one fell swoop. The world champion's action began on the slopes of Monte Livata, this year's Cima Coppi. A double acceleration broke the resistance of his main rivals, starting with Maglia Rosa Matisse Van Kerckhove, who broke away with 12 kilometers to go. With 10.5 kilometers to go, Finn launched a decisive attack, reaching the leader and teammate Gustave Blanc. He then dropped him shortly thereafter and sprinted solo toward the finish line, gradually increasing his lead over his pursuers. Pablo Mateo Ramirez and Henrique Bravo Ribeiro finished second and third, respectively, both 52 seconds behind, while Frenchmen Gustave Blanc and Rémi Arsac rounded out the top five, 1 minute 42 seconds behind. Matisse Van Kerckhove finished 22nd, 3 minutes 59 seconds behind, thus handing the lead to Finn.
