(PRIMASPORT) MILAN On Sunday, November 1st, at 6:00 PM, Allianz Milano will return to the Allianz Cloud to face Pallavolo Padova on the third day of the men's SuperLega volleyball regular season. After their brilliant tiebreaker victory against Acqua Sant'Anna Cuneo, the Lombardy team led by coach Guillermo Falasca is looking for consistency in front of their home crowd, aiming to continue the team's growth, which features several new players.
Padova, still on zero points after facing top-tier opponents such as Piacenza, Cucine Lube Civitanova, and Sir Safety Perugia, enters the match in a difficult position but determined to pick up their first points of the season. Veneto coach Jacopo Cuttini highlighted the team's progress, especially in serving and attacking fundamentals, and pointed to the Milan match as an opportunity to capitalize on their accumulated match rhythm.
Allianz Milano will be able to count on key players like Basil Dermaux, who played a key role in the victory against Cuneo, and Robertlandy Simon, who is approaching 2,000 points in the regular season, a significant milestone in his career. The team will need to demonstrate focus and consistency on the court, especially in the fundamentals of serving and blocking, to counter the opponents' offensive prowess.
Milan's center Filippo Bartolucci said: "It will be a match we must approach with determination and focus. Despite our initial results against very capable teams, we know that Padova is an excellent, well-built team. We need the support of our fans to help us in this challenge.".
The match will be refereed by Massimiliano Giardini and Michele Brunelli, with video review by Gianluca Fumagalli. The match will be broadcast live on VBTV with commentary by Gabriele Catterin and Giorgio Goldoni. Allianz Milano will aim to consolidate its position in the standings before a challenging series of matches against Verona, Lube, and Trento. (PRIMASPORT)
