(PRIMASPORT) MONK – There's been a moment of great concern at Bayern Munich: coach Vincent Kompany fell ill at the Säbener Strasse training center immediately after his afternoon training session with the team. An ambulance and rescue helicopter arrived immediately, transporting the coach to a Munich hospital for medical checks.
Kompany had just returned to the bench for the Champions League match against Arsenal after battling a severe viral infection that forced him to miss training earlier this week and exacerbated hip pain, so much so that he had to rest during halftime of the final league match against Leipzig.
