(PRIMASPORT) FROSINONE Frosinone has officially extended Farès Ghedjemis's contract until June 30, 2030. The 2002-born Franco-Algerian striker had attracted several offers from clubs such as Celtic, Rangers, Monaco, and Besiktas, but the Ciociaria club held firm thanks in part to the support of the new shareholders of the American fund Clara Vista.
Ghedjemis, a key figure in Frosinone's promotion last season with 38 appearances, 15 goals, and 3 assists, arrived in January 2024 after being discovered by technical director Guido Angelozzi in the French Serie C. Coach Alvini nurtured his talent, leading him to a call-up to the Algerian national team for the Americas World Cup.
The contract renewal follows Frosinone's multi-year plan, which has already secured other young talents such as goalkeeper Palmisani (until 2031) and defender Bracaglia (until 2029). (PRIMASPORT)
