(PRIMASPORT) TOKYO – Carlos Alcaraz won the ATP 500 title in Tokyo, successfully defending the trophy he had already won in 2025. The Spaniard, currently ranked world number 3, triumphed in the final against the Czech Jiri Lehecka, ranked number 19, with a score of 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.
This victory marks Alcaraz's first since returning from a right wrist injury, suffered in late August during the US Open. His last title came in mid-February, at the ATP 500 in Doha. The final in Tokyo was the Spaniard's first since last April, when he lost to Jannik Sinner in the Monte Carlo Masters 1000. (PRIMASPORT)
