Andy Diuof turns Inter's fortunes around as they win at Karlsruher.

Inter bid farewell to Germany with a late victory at Karlsruher SC and at the BBBank Wildpark, thanks to two splendid goals from Frenchman Andy Diouf deep into injury time. Inter continues to be a team that never gives up and represents the character of their coach Cristian Chivu. Karlsruhe seemed on track for a narrow victory, despite the Nerazzurri pressing hard and creating a series of scoring opportunities. The Bundesliga season kicks off in early August, and the German team is obviously ahead in their preparations. After a tight first half, Civeja gave the home team the lead early in the second half, but the rest of the match was a Nerazzurri monologue. The equalizer seemed unlikely. Andy Diouf's two strikes, more than just goals, were important signals. With a relentless left foot, the Frenchman leveled the game in the 90th minute with a powerful on-the-ball shot from the edge of the box, then three minutes later he gave Inter the win with a stunning curling shot from the top of the box. The 2-1 draw against Karlsruher thus kicked off the Italian champions' preseason. In the classic 3-5-2 Nerazzurri formation, Chivu opted for a mix of experience and youth: Bisseck and Carlos Augusto in defense, Bovio in the center, Aleksandar Stankovic in the midfield, accompanied by Barella and Mkhitaryan. Mattia Marello on the left, Luis Henrique on the other side, while Pio Esposito paired with Iddrissou in attack. A completely new lineup was created in the second half, with Di Gennaro in goal, Pavard, Maye, and Bastoni in defense, Frattesi, Akinsanmiro, and Zielinski in midfield, Diouf and Dimarco on the wings, and Mosconi and Topalovic in attack.
