COMO – Como has its defensive cornerstone: 27-year-old England international Trevoh Chalobah, acquired permanently from Chelsea, has signed a contract until 2031. A Chelsea youth academy graduate, he made his debut by winning the 2021 UEFA Super Cup. He subsequently added two FIFA Club World Cups and a UEFA Conference League title to his list of achievements. Chalobah has made over 150 appearances for Chelsea in domestic and European competitions. He made his senior national team debut in 2025, as part of the squad that finished third at the recent World Cup.
Como coach Cesc Fàbregas described him as "an important signing and a player who embodies the club's ambition. He has played and won at the highest level, but he is also eager to start a new chapter and continue to improve. His arrival brings us strength, speed, and character in defense, as well as the technical quality needed to build play. He is a leader capable of raising the level of the team, and I am very happy he has chosen Como." Trevoh Chalobah said he was honored to work with Fàbregas again and attracted by Como's ambitious project, with which he will compete in the Champions League.
