TURIN – Lorenzo Musetti lost in straight sets to world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz: 6-4, 6-1, in one hour and 23 minutes. The Italian finished with one win and two losses, missing out on the semifinals, where the Spaniard advanced.
In the first set, Musetti served well, but lost his serve in the 10th game. In the second, Alcaraz broke in the 4th game, then the Spaniard saved two break points from Musetti in the 5th.
