ROME – On Tuesday, September 29, the CONI National Board will meet in an emergency session at the Foro Italico at 3:00 PM to discuss the situation of the Italian Weightlifting Federation (FIPE). The meeting follows the resignation of President Alberto Miglietta and seven federal councilors, which occurred after the extraordinary statutory assembly failed to approve the proposed changes to the federal regulations, leaving the current statute in place.
