After his second consecutive triumph at the Indoor World Championships, the Fiamme Gialle athlete had already twice jumped 17.59 meters outdoors. This is Diaz's third personal best, following his 17.80 meters at last year's Indoor World Championships in Nanjing and his 17.75 meters in Florence in 2023.
