TARANTO - The opening ceremony of the 20th Mediterranean Games took place at the Erasmo Iacovone Stadium in Taranto. For the fourth time in history, Italy is hosting the event, and President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella declared the event open in a memorable evening also attended by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
