Just a few months after his historic victory in the Kitzbühel downhill on January 24, 2026, the 25-year-old from Manerba del Garda received the traditional gift of a personalized cabin on the Hahnenkamm cable car. Franzoni is only the fourth Italian in history to win the Streif downhill, following Kristian Ghedina, Peter Fill, and Dominik Paris.
