PONTEDERA – Giulio Pellizzari has added the Giro della Toscana – Memorial Alfredo Martini to his personal trophy cabinet, confirming his position as a leading figure in international cycling. The Red Bull-BORA-Hansgrohe native from the Marche region won the eleventh edition of the race, 189.4 kilometers starting and finishing in Pontedera, thanks to a decisive attack immediately after the red triangle in the final kilometer. He gained a handful of meters at the perfect time and defended them to the finish, ahead of Frenchman Jordan Jegat (TotalEnergies) and Cristian Scaroni (XDS Astana Team).
