WASHINGTON – The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, may have given Italy a nod. But now it's up to the Azzurri to qualify and secure a spot in Group B with Canada, Qatar, and Switzerland. They could emerge victorious if coach Gattuso's team can find a balance between defense and attack. Italy will seek a spot in the semifinal against Northern Ireland (March 26 in Bergamo) and, potentially, against the winner of Wales vs. Bosnia (away on March 31).
