CORTINA – Elia Barp and Federico Pellegrino won bronze in the freestyle team sprint cross-country skiing event. The Italians finished 3.3 seconds behind Norway, whose champion Johannes Klaebo and Einar Hedegart took gold. The United States took silver. Pellegrino, 35, is the veteran of Italian cross-country skiing. He already has two Olympic silver medals under his belt, in the sprint in PyeongChang and Beijing. He was world champion in Lahti in 2017. Barp, a 23-year-old from Belluno, won a medal in his Olympic debut.
