The Federal Court of Appeal (United Sections) of the Italian Football Federation has rejected the appeal filed by lawyer Renato Miele regarding the resolution of the June 22nd meeting that elected Giovanni Malagò as president of the FIGC. The appeal challenged the legitimacy of the election results, including the procedures for admitting candidates and the minutes of the Credentials Verification Commission, as well as the failure to grant access to the documents regarding Malagò's candidacy. With this decision, the Court has confirmed the validity of Malagò's election and rejected the objections raised, consolidating the president's position at the helm of the Italian Football Federation.
