TARANTO - Gianmarco Tamberi won the gold medal in the high jump at the Mediterranean Games with a jump of 2.25m, before unsuccessfully attempting to set a world-best performance of 2.35m. He will be able to try again on Friday, September 4th, in Brussels at the Diamond League final and then in Budapest for the Ultimate Championships the following weekend.
