The KTM Protek-Elettrosystem rider made a difference from the start, setting a pace no one could match. KTM Protek-Elettrosystem completed a dominant day thanks to Ettore Fabbro's silver medal, while Martino Zavan took bronze. Martina Berta, Valentina Corvi, and Angelica Gatto are the new Italian Olympic cross-country champions in the Elite and Under-23 categories.
