TARANTO. The Italian national swimming team continues to make a strong statement at the 2026 Taranto Mediterranean Games. The Italians, competing in the long pool at the Torre d'Ayala Swimming Stadium, finished the second round of finals with another 13 medals (six gold, five silver, and two bronze), the same number as those they earned on the opening day (three gold, eight silver, and two bronze).
