Carreno Busta then addressed the umpire, complaining about the excessive noise from the crowd. Berrettini then scored the first of three match points and won the first match 6-3, 6-4. The former world No. 6 also maintained his two-year unbeaten streak in the Davis Cup. Cobolli's match against Munar is eagerly awaited.
