ROME Lazio has officially announced the permanent transfer of defender Patric to the United Arab Emirates club Al-Ittifaq. After 11 years with the Biancoceleste club, Patric bid farewell to the fans with a farewell message published on Lazio's official channels.
“I came here as a child, and now I'm leaving as a man. Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined a love story like this. We've won, lost, suffered, and celebrated, but what I'll truly take with me is your love,” said Patric, emphasizing his deep bond with the club and its supporters.
The defender added: "I always said I'd stay until I felt I could give everything. Today I leave with a full heart, but a part of me will remain here forever." Meanwhile, Lazio is preparing for the friendly against Juve Stabia, which will be played at Formello next Saturday.
