Swimming: Pilato and Tarantino, sanctioned after the Singapore theft, will not compete in the European Championships in Poland.

(PRIMASPORT) ROME – Italian swimmers Benedetta Pilato and Chiara Tarantino have been fined by the Federal Prosecutor's Office for the theft at Singapore airport following the World Swimming Championships.
Following the investigation launched after the duty-free theft at Singapore airport, which involved Pilato and Tarantino last August, the Italian Swimming Federation has accepted the Federal Prosecutor's Office's proposed sanctions following a plea bargain. The two athletes will be suspended for 90 days, and will therefore be unable to participate in the European Short Course Championships in Poland from December 2nd to 7th. (PRIMASPORT)
