(PRIMASPORT) MEDA – The 5th edition of the Meda Urban Race will be held on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th, 2026. This running event is promoted by Auxologico Irccs with the aim of promoting health, prevention, solidarity, and inclusion through sport.

The event, presented at the Auxologico San Luca in Milan, features the return of the FIDAL-approved competitive half marathon over a distance of 21.097 km, and a new addition: the competitive 10 km race. Both will take place on a flat, fast-paced course that will pass through the municipalities of Meda, Cabiate, and Seregno, including the green space of La Porada Park.

Alongside the competitive races, there will be courses open to everyone, including families, children, people with disabilities, and pets, with the free 5km Family Run, in collaboration with the Italian Paralympic Committee, and the 5km Dogs Run for those who run with their dogs.

The event aims not only to offer a sporting competition, but above all to support projects promoting health prevention, healthy lifestyles, and solidarity, renewing the contribution to the AVIS Meda association.

The race village will be set up in Auxologico Meda on Via Pace, where activities open to families and enthusiasts will take place on Saturday, October 17th, while the competitions will begin on Sunday with staggered starts starting at 9:00 am.

Online registration is open until October 15th, with the option to register on-site on October 17th, subject to availability. All registrants will receive discounted rates on healthcare services offered by Auxologico.

Il comico e autore televisivo Federico Basso sarà il testimonial della manifestazione, sottolineando l’importanza dello sport come momento di partecipazione e solidarietà. (PRIMASPORT)
