ENGLAND Manchester City secured a resounding 5-0 victory over Norwich, advancing to the fourth round of the English League Cup (Carabao Cup). Enzo Maresca's side, fielding a large number of substitutes, scored through Samba in the 29th minute of the first half and the ninth minute of the second, Cherki in the 32nd minute, Allan in the third minute of the second half, and McAidoo in the 45th minute.
This victory allows Manchester City to advance, unlike their rivals Manchester United, who were defeated in the derby at the weekend while playing with ten men and were beaten 3-2 by Brighton yesterday at Old Trafford. Liverpool and Arsenal also advance.
